Kick start your postpartum health by eating right. Inspried by both Western and Eastern nutrition philosophies the New Mama MealBox is what you need on your journey to feel like yourself again.

What is in the MealBox?

The New Mama MealBox is aimed to support your during the first week(s) after you have had your baby. Not only to replenish your strength but also to relieve you and your partner of thinking about what to eat by having healthy meals at hand.

Everything is homemade by private chef Nadine herself and all produce is sourced organically.

Discover what the MealBox contains and the menu options:

  • Choose three full meals for you and your partner which can be stored in the freezer and heated up when it’s time to eat. Advised to thaw meal in the fridge 12hrs before.

    Meals:

    • Turmeric lentil dahl

    • Sweet potato and white bean stew

    • Creamy orzo with spinach (option with chicken meatballs)

    • Ginger fried rice with vegetables (option with beef)

    • Nonna’s spaghetti bolognese

    • Coconut & turmeric chickpea stew with kale

    All options can be made vegetarian.

  • Two soups which are delicious and filling. Yummy for both lunch or dinnertime - or whenever mama is hungry ;) Stored in freezer.

    • Cauliflower, leek & turmeric soup

    • Roasted tomato & lentil soup

  • Start your day off with an energizing bowl of granola. Packed with nuts, seeds and other ingredients to provide you with enough protein and fiber.

    Oats, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, flax seeds, raisins, goji berries, coconut oil, date syrup, cinnamon

    Add your own yoghurt/milk. Can be stored up to 3 weeks.

  • Enough for two cups of flavourful broth to drink , rich in collagen and electrolytes (among maaaany other nutrients) to regain your strength. If there was one main recommendation for postpartum eating it would be bone broth!

    Vegetarians, don’t worry - a vegetable broth with many benefits is also available.

    Can be stored in the fridge up to 5 days, or a month in the freezer.

  • Freshly made date & coconut blissballs to provide easy to eat, energy boosting snacks during those first few days.

    And there’s nothing like cup of tea to relax you amidst the excitment and care of your newborn baby. Herbs such as nettle and raspberry leaf are anti-inflammatory and high in anti-oxidants.

Price & Delivery

  • 95,- euros

    Includes: delivery, storage containers and extra infor on ingredients, benefits and preparation.

  • Where? Delivery is done during the weekends througout The Hague area but deliveries in Rotterdam or Amsterdam can be done upon request, please get in touch about this!

    When? For mama’s it is best to get your order in before your due date to make sure your freezer is stocked (all meals can be stored for quite a while), this way you can thaw or reheat when you are ready to eat. Already postpartum and would still like the mealbox? That’s totally possible too if that works for you.

    Or if you want to gift the box yourself, make sure they receive it within a week after I deliver it to you. Store the meals in freezer before that time to ensure everything is fresh.

    Mama’s are also very happy with meals a few weeks later after having the the baby, so no rush in getting it to them in the first week.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Order & Cancellation

    • Your order is confirmed once payment is processed via the link in the confirmation email.

    • A full refund is only possible if the cancellation is made at least one week before the scheduled delivery date.

    • Refunds after delivery are not possible.

  2. Delivery

    • The delivery date and time are agreed upon via email between Nadine and the client.

    • If the client is not at home at the agreed-upon time, a new drop-off time can be arranged for an additional charge of €10.

    • Refunds for missed deliveries are not possible.

  3. Ingredients & Allergies

    • A full ingredient list is provided with each MealBox.

    • While we take food health and safety seriously, the meals are prepared in a homestyle kitchen. Customers consume the meals at their own risk.

    • Despite careful preparation, we cannot guarantee that our dishes are completely free from allergens.

    • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions. We strongly advise individuals with severe allergies to take additional precautions.

  4. Nutritional Disclaimer

    • I am a chef and food enthusiast, not a licensed nutritionist.

    • If you have concerns about how certain ingredients may affect your health or postpartum recovery, please consult a nutritionist or doctor before consuming the meals.
