I am 31 years old and based in The Hague in The Netherlands. My career started as a marketeer in food retail. Today I have my own business in freelance marketing and communication for food businesses and I do catering aswell. Good food

Good food to me has many layers. Good food is nutritious and healthy but is also grown, reared or sourced in a sustainable way. Obviously good food is delicious and looks beautiful but it’s also about the craft and skill that goes into preparing food. Good food also always has a story or cultural aspect which helps us appreciate a product or dish. Understanding what good food is can give people insight into what there is to know beyond the shelves of the supermarket.

Working in the food industry and supporting brands and organisations that contribute to a sustainable food system, it has opened my eyes to the bigger picture of what good, clean and fair food entails. And having attended Ballymaloe Cookery School (summer 2023) I have had an intensive schooling in how Slow Food practices can create delicious dishes that have a positive impact. 

Catering

I cater dinners, events and multi-day retreats. My cooking can be described as rustic, homemade and festive. But I also enjoy cooking healthy and nutritious meals. I work closely with my clients to create a unique food experience every time. Read more about my catering services here.
